With the purpose of building a community with the neighbors of Benito Juarez and in order to promote a responsible ownership, the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice in Mexico City organized the costume contest “perroríficos” for pets at its new seat located at Tintoreto 39, Santa María Nonoalco.

Prior to the Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations, a total of nine dogs and a turtle participated in the contest won by Bambino, disguised as “Chucky the killer doll”; second came Bimba, a Builldog disguised as a pumpkin and the third place was for Mani, who dressed as a Catrina.

The Council’s president, Salvador Guerrero Chiprés, reminded that through CompAnimal they promote a responsible ownership and fight against animal mistreatment and abandonment, all of this through the Safety Line and Trustworthy Chat 55 5533 5533, 24/7, in alliance with the Animal Vigilance Brigade and PAOT.

Dog tutors received two thousand, fifteen hundred and a thousand pesos in a gift card so that they can buy food and tow for their pets.

The Citizen Council’s seat in Benito Juarez offers legal attention and psychological support every day from 9:00 to 19:00. It has a play center and during the day of the dead celebration it has programmed several activities that are announced through the organism’s social networks
