We signed an agreement in benefit of employees and users of the Judicial Power. Presidents of both organisms highlighted the institutional capacity to offer help.
At least 40 thousand people, law practitioners, public servants and the general public will receive daily information that contributes to fighting against fraud, extortion, human trafficking and they’ll learn about the resources that are available for emotional containment as a result of the agreement established between the Court of Justice and the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice in Mexico.
The agreement has the purpose of strengthening a culture of prevention and legality, as agreed in the scheme of joint work. The Presidents of the Court of Justice and the Citizen Council, magistrate Rafael Guerra Alvarez and Salvador Guerrero Chipres, respectively, signed an agreement at the organism’s facilities.
The Citizen Council offers employees of the Court of Justice and its users that psychological and legal support services that they have through the Safety Line and Trustworthy Chat 55 5533 5533 as well as the denunciation and counseling lines against Human Trafficking (800 5533 000) and Safe Diversity (800 000 5428).
Both Presidents highlighted the institutional capacity and articulation possibility they have to help citizens, even in the most difficult moments of the sanitary contingency caused by COVID-19.
“Few generations have faced greater adversity, amidst an economic recession, climate change and a world pandemic, and never before had such efforts to humanize social interactions have been more important, as well as to turn psychological aid into the first line of defense for citizens,” Guerra Alvarez stated.
The agreement will benefit the more than 11 thousand 800 judicial employees and nearly 40 thousand average users who visit the facilities every day.
“Promoting a culture of prevention and legality is fundamental for an ecology of safety that helps build a safe environment for individuals based on ethics and a principle of regulated order,” Guerrero Chipres said.
The Presidents of both organisms coincided in the need to prioritize mental health. Guerra Álvarez emphasized his concern about the individual and social well-being of assets given that this involves a task that requires more inclusion, promotion and participation.
Guerrero Chipres highlighted the importance of consolidating a dynamic link with institutions to promote citizen participation, inclusion, efficiency and honesty.
Data from the Safety Line and Trustworthy Chat establish that between 2020 and April of this year they have offered 44 thousand attentions. The Citizen Council offers free psychological and legal support 24/7 anywhere around the country.
