WE SIGN AGREEMENT WITH AMIS AGAINST CRIME SUCH AS FRAUD
Together with AMIS we exchange statistics to make synergies about crime prevention and the promotion of civic culture, road safety, and others topics.
The Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS) and the Citizen Council for Security and Justice of Mexico City sign a collaboration agreement to enhance efforts that promote the welfare of citizens.
The institutions will work on crime prevention and the promotion of civic culture, road safety, population resilience to natural disasters, human rights and financial insurance education.
A fundamental part of this alliance lies in the exchange of statistics that serve to contribute to the best decision-making in the fight against crimes such as fraud.
On this issue, the president of the Citizen Council, Salvador Guerrero Cyprus, said that the Security Line had attended 81 people who have reported 2019 to date the problems related to insurance fraud.
Given this, the president of AMIS, Manuel Escobedo, evaluated the exchange of information, in addition to the actions among the participants of this agreement, will help identify and assess the risks for Mexican society, which will make better decisions, both to control them and how to attend them financially.
The agreement between AMIS and the Citizen Council can also combat the crime of fraud based on information exchange and coordination with the Investigation Police with whom the Council works in a coordinated manner.
"The purpose of the Council is to be an organism that articulates, which allows the promotion of a civic culture in favor of prevention, regarding the incidence of crime and that strengthens through the denunciation of the rule of law," said Guerrero Cyprus.
Some of the programs that also help to promote AMIS and that are promoted by the Citizen Council are: The Security Line, Together Against Trafficking, Together Against Bullying and the No + Extortion application.
