We signed an agreement with the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice in Puebla; at the National Line Against Human Trafficking, 632 reports have come from this state throughout 2020.
Both in Puebla and Mexico City it’s necessary to have unity in order to fight extortion, fraud and Human Trafficking. This was agreed by the Citizen Councils from both cities after signing a collaboration agreement that focuses on carrying out joint actions in order to recover safety, promote justice and a civic culture.
The President of the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice in Mexico City, Salvador Guerrero Chipres pointed out that joining efforts from both organizations is important in order to confront an extraordinarily difficult context in which several unprecedented situations come together in terms of public health, economy, safety and psycho-social wellbeing.
Puebla’s President of the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice, Armando Gerardo Garcia Pedroche, said that they seek to work as a solid and strong team that benefits the population from both entities, pointing out the work made through the sanitary emergency.
The agreement seeks to promote citizen participation through different programs and causes that they will promote jointly in order to achieve a wholesome and progressive development of society in terms of safety, procurement of justice, violence and crime prevention.
Both organizations are committed with promoting in Puebla the program Together Against Trafficking through the National Line 800 55 33 000 as an additional resource to denounce this form of slavery. Throughout the year, the Citizen Council in Mexico City has registered 1,643 reports made at the National Line corresponding to Puebla.
The agreement includes offering Puebla’s inhabitants the tools that are available at the App No + Extortions, available in iOs and Android, which allows to block phone numbers that are used for extortionists; as well as the Safety Line and Trustworthy Chat 55 55 33 5533.
