Activities take place Saturdays at noon
Teaching boys and girls to express their emotions, to say what they feel, think and need, is part of the skills that the psychologists of the Citizen Council for Safety and Justice in Mexico City teach those who go to trainings on the construction of a positive coexistence at the new seat in Iztapalapa.
Since its opening day, on January 5th, every Sunday, at the seat located at 100 Luis Hidalgo Monroy in the neighborhood of San Pablo, the Citizen Council presents, at noon, a play in which Charly “The Bear”, Antonio “The Deer” and Maria “The Rabbit” learn to coexist after a great storm
This play is not only fun for children but it also teaches values such as respect and empathy; as well as how to communicate more efficiently and share. Also, how to solve conflicts.
After this activity, children can enjoy a movie with popcorn. This weekend they presented “Great Heroes”.
The seat of the Citizen Council in Iztapalapa also offers psychological therapy, legal and psychological aid from 9:00 to 19:00 on Sundays. All activities are free.
