Mainly, they asked the citizens to download the app No + XT (No more extortions) that helps block over 150 thousand phone numbers related with this crime, while also enabling people to register others.

Data from the Citizen Council reveals that 90 percent of extortion events can be prevented because they are made by phone and don’t represent a real risk for the victim. That’s why it’s so important to protect cell phones with the Council’s app that blocks and sends an alert of suspicious calls.
